A Sporty Collaboration with Maud Horvers
Last summer, we were asked if we were willing to sponsor the warm-up shirt of Maud Horvers, a promising handball talent from Dongen. It was impossible for us to pass up such an opportunity when an ambitious, sporty, and driven individual approaches us. These are all qualities that we also strive for with our online shop, Orangeshop.eu.
Great Handball Talent from Dongen
Maud is 17 years old and plays for the current handball champion, VOC from Amsterdam-Noord. Last summer, Maud had no time for holidays or parties; she was playing for the Dutch national team under 17. She represented our country at the European Championship in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. Now that schools have started again, she spends weekdays at the Handball Academy in Papendal, a collaboration between the Handball Association and NOC*NSF where talented handball players can train full-time. In addition, she is pursuing an education at the Johan Cruyff Academy, where athletes have the opportunity to combine their elite sports career with a study in Sports Marketing. Someone who doesn’t like to sit still!
